Call for launching social movement against corruption
RANGPUR, Dec 11: Launching of a social movement against corruption
with participation of common people can reduce corruption to speed up
the present pace of national development for building a developed
country, reports BSS.
The opinion came at an anti-corruption planning meeting organised by
Ward No-6 unit of Community Policing Forum of Mominpur union at
Hazrahati Government Primary School under Sadar upazila here on
Wednesday afternoon.
RDRS Bangladesh assisted in arranging the meeting under the Justice
Reform and Corruption Prevention (JRCP) Project with the assistance of
German Development Cooperation (GIZ).
The NGO has been implementing the project in Sadar and Kawnia upazilas
in Rangpur to reduce corruption under GIZ funding with assistance of the
Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
Member for Ward No-6 of Mominpur union Ahsan Habib Dulal attended the
meeting as the chief guest with President of Ward No-6 unit of Community
Policing Forum of Mominpur union Haripado Mohanta in the chair.
